 Dear Visitors and Members,

Thank you for visiting the Louisiana Association of Crisis Negotiators (LACN) website.  LACN was founded in 1998 by a small but dedicated group of crisis negotiators from federal, state and local law enforcement officers from throughout the great state of Louisiana.  They started with a simple mission that remains today:  To resolve crisis situations as safely as possible with no loss of life or injuries to the parties involved.  To this date, crisis situations in which LACN members have participated have been successfully resolved with no death or serious injury to innocent civilians or law enforcement officers.  That small band of officers has now grown to a membership of over 130 trained crisis negotiators who serve with various law enforcement

agencies throughout Louisiana.  LACN is also a proud member of the National Council of Negotiation Associations.  The experience and lessons learned by LACN members have been passed onto others and adopted in training throughout the United States and internationally.

LACN offers a wide variety of crisis negotiation training which is free-of-charge or at a much reduced rate to public safety entities throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Region.  Please take a moment to visit our website.  If you are interested in becoming an LACN member, please visit the "Join Us" section.

Sincerely,

Craig Rhodes

President
